The Take A Stand! Program educates youth about positive strategies to manage conflict and bullying. The program was developed as a collaboration between Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Texas 4-H Youth Development Foundation, and Texas Rural Mediation Services-Dispute Resolution Center of Lubbock County. The five-lesson curriculum has 3 age levels (elementary, middle school, and high school) and utilizes interactive and hands-on activities to engage youth in learning to cope with negative feelings of anger, how to communicate effectively, conflict resolution, etiquette, and teamwork.
