  • 2011 – Canola Oilseed Crop Evaluation
    Test located at Texas A&M Research & Extension Center.  Best performing variety was DKL 72-55 at 808 lbs of seed per acre.
  • 2011 – Flax Variety Evaluation
    Test located at Texas A&M Research & Extension Center.   Best performing variety was OMEGA at 419 lbs. per acre.
  • 2011 – Safflower Variety Evaluation
    Test located at Texas A&M Research & Extension Center.  Yields ranged from a low of 796 lbx per acre to a high of 1,830 pounds per acre
  • 2009 – Flax Variety Evaluation
    The best performing flax variety in this test was A C Watson at 536 pounds of seed per acre, while the test average was 507 pounds per acre. This test was located on the Research & Extension Center on Hwy 44.
  • 2009- Safflower Variety Evaluation
    Yields ranged from a low of 211 pounds per acre to a high of 1,315 pounds per acre. This test was located on the Research & Extension Center on Hwy 44.
  • 2008 – Cool Season Oilseed Crop Evaluation
    The best performing oilseed in this test was Clearwater canola at 2,233 pounds of seed per acre. Of all the oilseeds evaluated in this study, canola and rape varieties were the best performers and produced the greatest gross dollars per acre.
